What I help with
Two areas, all rooted in the same approach
Two areas, one approach
Individual Therapy
For adults ready to grow in self-awareness
You might be the person who holds it together for everyone else. The one people come to. The one who manages, copes, and keeps going even when you're running on empty inside. I work with people who are ready to stop performing okay and start actually being okay.
We'll look at what's underneath the surface. The patterns you keep repeating. The family stuff you thought you'd outgrown. The identity questions that won't leave you alone. The faith that used to make sense but doesn't anymore. The relationships that keep hurting in the same way.
I use a psychodynamic approach, which means I care about where things came from, not just how to manage them. We'll work on practical skills too. Mindfulness. Naming what you actually feel. But the deeper work is about understanding yourself well enough to make choices based on who you really are.
Couples Therapy
For couples wanting deeper connection
Relationships can get to a place where you're having the same argument on repeat, or worse, not arguing at all because you've both stopped trying. I help couples find their way back to each other.
We'll look at how your individual histories show up in the space between you. How your family patterns, cultural expectations, and the things you learned about love and safety as a kid are playing out right now.
The goal isn't to assign blame. It's to understand what's actually happening so you can make real changes together. We also do premarital work using the Prepare-Enrich assessment for couples who want to build a strong foundation before marriage.
